Shugo Chara! (しゅごキャラ! Shugo Kyara!), also known as My Guardian Characters, is a Japanese shōjo manga series created by the manga author duo, Peach-Pit. The story centers on elementary school girl Amu Hinamori, whose popular exterior, referred to as "cool and spicy" by her classmates, contrasts with her introverted personality. When Amu wishes for the courage to be reborn as her would-be self, she is surprised to find three colorful eggs the next morning, which hatch into three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su.
Shugo Chara! is serialized in the magazine Nakayoshi and published by Kodansha in Japan. Del Rey has licensed the English language manga rights, releasing the first volume on March 27, 2007. It won the 2008 Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga.
Shugo Chara! has also been adapted into a fifty-one episode anime television series of the same title produced by Satelight under the direction of Kenji Yasuda and debuted on October 6, 2007 on TV Tokyo. On July 20, 2008, Anime News Network reported that the Shugo Chara! anime would be continued for a second year under the title Shugo Chara!! Doki—, the first episode airing on October 10, 2008; the official anime website later announced an October 4, 2008 start date.
On October 3, 2009, Shugo Chara! began featuring another series. The new program, Shugo Chara Party! containing Shugo Chara!!! Dokki Doki and Shugo Chara Pucchi Puchi! follow the current anime series as its power-up. The last episode aired on March 26, 2010.

One Direction are a British-Irish boy band consisting of members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. They finished third on the seventh series of The X Factor. Following The X Factor, the group signed a record contract with Sony Music subsidiarySyco Records.
One Direction's debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" was released on 11 September 2011. The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number one on 18 September 2011, shifting 153,965 copies, becoming the third fastest selling single of 2011.[1][2] Their second single, "Gotta Be You", was released on 13 November 2011, which peaked at number three.[3] Their debut album Up All Night was released on 21 November 2011. The album peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart, selling 138,631 copies,[4] and was the fastest-selling debut album on the UK Albums Chart of 2011.[5] Up All Night was the sixteenth biggest selling album on the UK Albums Chart of 2011, with 468,000 copies sold.[6]

Girls’ Generation (Korean: Hangul – 소녀시대; Hanja - 少女時代) is a popular nine-member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The members are, in order of announcement to be in the group, Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon (leader), Jessica, and Sunny. They are commonly referred to as SNSD, the acronym of the group’s Korean name So-Nyeo Shi-Dae or So-Nyuh Shi-Dae, Chinese name Shao Nü Shi Dai, Japanese name ShōJo JiDai. They are also referred as SoShi which is the abbreviation of the groups’ Korean name. The group’s official fan-club is named as S♥NE (소원) pronounced as “So-won” which means “wish” in Korean.
Girls’ Generation had their official debut stage on August 5, 2007 with their first single “Into the New World”. The group has released two albums and various singles, which went on to achieve commercial success. Their 2009 single “Gee” holds the record for the longest-running #1 song on KBS’s Music Bank, at 9 weeks. That year also saw the girls winning various awards, including consecutive Artist of the Year (Daesang) awards at the Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards.
The members of the group have had various activities as solo entertainers — acting in various video clips, dramas, and musicals; hosting various reality-variety shows; and releasing solo singles for drama soundtracks.

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어) is a South Korean boy band. Formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of SM Entertainment, the group comprised a total of thirteen members at its peak, and was at one point the world's largest boy band.[1]Super Junior originally debuted with twelve members, consisting of leader Leeteuk,Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae,Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kibum. Kyuhyun was added to the group in 2006.
Super Junior launched into international recognition following the release of their best-selling single "Sorry, Sorry" in 2009, the title song of their most critically successful album Sorry, Sorry.[2][3] The group has released and contributed to over 20 records with varying degrees of success,[4] and was the best-selling K-pop artist for three years in a row.[5] Over the years, they have been divided into smaller subgroups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. In December 2009, Han Geng departed from the group after filing a lawsuit against their agency SM Entertainment.[7] Han Geng subsequently won the lawsuit in December 2010,[8] though his departure from Super Junior was not made official until September 27, 2011, when S.M. Entertainment finally released a statement to that effect.[9][10] Heechul enlisted for his mandatory military service on September 1, 2011, joining Kangin, who is set to complete his service in April 2012. As well as this, Kibum remains absent from the group while pursuing an acting career, however the remaining members consider the absent four to be part of the group regardless. This has left Super Junior with nine currently active members: Leeteuk, Yesung,Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, andKyuhyun
